Since its founding in 2004 by Chuck Strausser, NY Drapery Care has focused exclusively on cleaning fine custom drapery and fabric shades, including the full line of Hunter Douglas products.
Unlike other cleaning companies that offer drapery and shade cleaning among a host of other services, we remain solely focused on our singular specialty. We are pleased to serve both the interior design community as well as you, the public.
Most of our cleaning is done at our workroom, rather than in your home (motorized shades are cleaned onsite).
Our service includes:
Removal and reinstallation of your window treatments
Hand-cleaning of custom drapery, sheers, and fabric shades using only eco friendly solutions
Storage, in the event that you are renovating and need us to hold onto everything until the work is done.
